1. Who we are and scope
Noether Meridian Inc. is a Canadian corporation. This policy applies to the Noether Meridian corporate website and enquiries made through it. Alpha Stochastic Research (ASR), the research initiative, has a separate website and working environment; links to ASR do not make its entire infrastructure part of this corporate website.
Different privacy notices, agreements or notices from service providers may apply when you use a separate client portal, recruitment system, ASR workspace or third-party platform.
2. Information that may be processed
If you choose to contact us by email, we receive the information you put in that email, such as your name, email address, organisation, research interest and message. The site's contact composer prepares an email in your own mail application; the website itself does not submit that form to a Noether Meridian database.
When you visit the site, hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information, such as IP address, browser type, page requested, request time and security events. If Vercel authentication or another access-protection feature is enabled for a preview, that provider may process login-related data and essential session information.
3. Why information is used
We use information where appropriate to respond to enquiries, discuss possible research projects, maintain security, troubleshoot the website, meet legitimate operational obligations and comply with applicable law.
We do not treat a request for information as blanket consent to promotional mailing. Separate marketing communications will be managed in accordance with applicable requirements.

We seek consent or rely on another permitted basis where applicable. You decide whether to send an initial email; please avoid submitting passwords, proprietary trade secrets, material non-public information, client account identifiers or unusually sensitive personal data without an agreed secure channel.

5. Providers, disclosures and international processing
Website infrastructure and communications may involve external hosting, security, email and IT service providers. Their systems may operate outside your province or country, subject to their security measures and applicable rules. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect a legitimate legal right.
We do not describe the separate ASR recruitment system, social media platforms or GitHub as if they were controlled by this corporate website. Each destination may have its own data-processing arrangements and privacy practices.

We use measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of information; no internet service or email system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Access to enquiry correspondence should be restricted to authorised personnel.
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, including legitimate recordkeeping, legal requirements, disputes and security, and then delete or anonymise it when appropriate. Detailed retention periods may vary by record category and system.
7. Privacy requests and complaints
For questions, access/correction requests, withdrawal of consent, suspected misuse or privacy complaints, contact contact@noethermeridian.com. We may need to verify identity before disclosing personal information. If appropriate, you may also contact the relevant Canadian privacy regulator.
We will review this statement when service providers, forms, analytics, jurisdictions or information-processing practices materially change.
